In Love with Oilcloth

Speaking of bags, I love oilcloth as much as I love melamine. I know: not related. But somehow they both have a retro feel to them (which I love), and are still modern, practical and show off patterns really well (which I love even more.) So here's my ode to Flee, a web-based company known for its sturdy yet stylish oilcloth totes and backpacks. I remember the days when I used to be in advertising and just like Flee's founder, would have to replace my worn-out totes every couple of months. A life on the road is not easy on poor old purses.

So whether you need a catch-all for the beach or a picnic this summer, make sure to go with a bag that will last you more than just a season.
